POETRY AFIELD wrapped up its 2023 season on Saturday, September 16th with Lisa Low, Michael Peterson and L.J. Sysko on the mic. A gorgeous night of fall weather and fantastic poetry complemented by the delicious Dusk Volta (a bourbon drink that begins cinnamon apple cider and turns lemon ginger at the finish,) Poetry Afield once again fulfilled its mission of bringing together great words and community at The Littlefield.
Poetry Afield heated up August 19th with Marcus Donaldson, Casey Harloe and Dior Stephens.

Poetry Afield returned on June 10th with Yalie Saweda Kamara , Marianne Chan and Nick Molbert.

HAD – Math Final for Gemini – April 22, 2023 – as part of their call for zodiac on zodiac poems. Of course I had to write about love between Gemini. CRAZY!
Variant Literature – Issue 14, Spring 2023 – Prosody, or an Origin Story – an intense narrative poem from the second half of TWANG.
Pangyrus – What Was Supposed to Be Ours – This poem lives in my arc of queer marriage project and “goes through” a divorce.
The Toast – my poem from the inaugural issue of Ran Off with the Star Bassoon – was a finalist for Best of the Net! Very unexpected and fun. So grateful for the support/encouragement the team at Bassoon has given me.
