• Atmospheric Quarterly – “Aurora,” “Ghostbirth,” and “Another Year.” These were fun poems I ended up writing specifically for Atmospheric after they solicited work from me.
• Pithead Chapel – “A Lisp,” “Holler Psalm 6:02,” and “Five Months”
• The Poetry Society of New York / Milk Press Winter 2024 – “Iraq Is for Lover (2003 Remix)” and “The Other Cheek.”
• Lickety Split – “Wayward Throuple” – a fragment of a burning haibun that turned into a haiku trio on desire in the modern era, by way of Macbeth and orgies.
• Poet Lore – “Abecedarian in which my mom leaves” – Volume 118, 1 / 2 – only viewable if you buy the issue.
• The Florida Review – “Antidote” – Issue 47.2 – Page 16 in the print issue; not online yet! A poem from the Twang-verse.
• Dream Pop – “White Limozeen” – A fun one-off poem I’d almost forgotten I wrote a few years ago.

POETRY AFIELD wrapped up its 2023 season on Saturday, September 16th with Lisa Low, Michael Peterson and L.J. Sysko on the mic. A gorgeous night of fall weather and fantastic poetry complemented by the delicious Dusk Volta (a bourbon drink that begins cinnamon apple cider and turns lemon ginger at the finish,) Poetry Afield once again fulfilled its mission of bringing together great words and community at The Littlefield.

Poetry Afield heated up August 19th with Marcus Donaldson, Casey Harloe and Dior Stephens.

Bellingham Review – Issue 86, Spring/Summer 2023 – two new poems, “Elegy for 1990” and “Eternal Flame.”

Poetry Afield returned on June 10th with Yalie Saweda Kamara , Marianne Chan and Nick Molbert.

Gordon Square Review – Issue 12, June 2023 – a big crazy Appalachian poem in the form of a geologic graph surveying rock layers – “Survey of Common Source Minerals in the Bottom Tip of Ohio’s Heart” – click through to see the poem in a PDF.

HAD – Math Final for Gemini – April 22, 2023 – as part of their call for zodiac on zodiac poems. Of course I had to write about love between Gemini. CRAZY!

Variant Literature – Issue 14, Spring 2023 – Prosody, or an Origin Story – an intense narrative poem from the second half of TWANG.

Pangyrus – What Was Supposed to Be Ours – This poem lives in my arc of queer marriage project and “goes through” a divorce.

The Toast – my poem from the inaugural issue of Ran Off with the Star Bassoon – was a finalist for Best of the Net! Very unexpected and fun. So grateful for the support/encouragement the team at Bassoon has given me.
